Hello and welcome
My name is Cherie and I am a qualified Level 3 Mat Pilates Instructor and a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher (200hr YTT). I believe that everyone can benefit from doing Pilates and yoga whatever stage of life you're in, and I'm excited to play a part in your health and wellbeing journey.
A bit about me
I have always enjoyed being active and played rugby and netball at school and I was part of the athletics team. I enjoy going to the gym, running, hiking, rock climbing - and of course yoga and Pilates! I have two young children and staying active helps to keep my mind fresh and my mood positive.
My yoga journey started in 2010 as a student where I found that the classes helped me to destress and left me feeling calm and focused. I started Pilates soon after starting work and found the exercises helped to improve my posture and body awareness, which was especially beneficial after spending all day at a desk.
My background is in marketing and in 2022 I made the career change to become a Pilates and yoga teacher, launching my own studio at the start of 2023. I bring a holistic and non-judgemental approach to my teaching, ensuring the whole body is challenged whilst also tailoring classes so that each person can work to the level that suits them that day. My clients leave class feeling accomplished and refreshed.
I am available for private classes, corporate yoga or Pilates classes, and teaching in school settings. Please contact me for more information.
